THE TRANSFORMATION STATION
The TransFormation Station LCV is an organization made of a dedicated group of volunteers who want to help those who may struggle to find the resources to live their most authentic lives.
We are run out of Grateful Threads Consignment where approved applicants will receive a credit and have access to a comprehensive closet of new and gently used clothing for those who are transgender, non-binary, queer, or anyone who struggles to find clothing that fits who they are.
Private shopping appointments are available for those who prefer to shop that way. Arrangements can be made by using the link below.

It all started when…
One of our founders is the parent of a trans child. Going through the process of buying new appropriate clothes and shoes, getting a new haircut, and culling all the clothes from his former life that are inappropriate for his identity was a very costly experience. As we were doing these things to support our child, we talked about how many kids and adults don’t have the resources or support to start living the life they so deeply need to live.
There are so many transgender and non-binary people who are not given the support they need. We thought that helping people feel good about how they looked was a way we could help share the love we have, and make things just a little better.

The Transformation Station runs solely on donations from the community. Donations are made specifically to the Transformation Station, and this makes it possible for us to help folx get the clothing they need. We accept donations of shoes, clothing & accessories in new or excellent used condition. Your monetary donations help us pay our non-profit fees and make it possible for us to provide items that should not be given in a second hand condition, such as binders, make-up and wigs.
Together we are dedicated to serving our LGBTQIA+ community with love and support.
